3 EASY DIY BODY SCRUBS FOR ALL SKIN TYPES

But, there is also the fear of added preservatives and chemicals. Here, I am giving you easy and simple DIY body scrub recipes for specific skin types. They are easy to make, cheap to make with ingredients from your kitchen. They will do wonders and you can experiment as much as you want. Hope you will enjoy trying them out.

IMPORTANCE OF USING A BODY SCRUB:

Exfoliation is a process of eliminating dead and dry skin from your face and body to reveal soft, smooth and glowing skin. It is essential to remove tan, oil, and blemishes from skin. Body scrubs provide great exfoliation by providing the skin with the right amount of moisturization. Using only soap will not provide a youthful look to your skin. So, take a look at these scrubs.

REJUVENATING COFFEE SCRUB (DRY SKIN):

Method:

  • Combine 3 tbsps. of coffee powder with 2 tbsps of sugar.
  • Add 3 tbsps. of thick creamy curd and mix it well.
  • Wet your skin and gently apply the scrub. Massage in circular motions.
  • Rinse off with cold water. Repeat twice a week.

BLEMISH CONTROL TURMERIC SCRUB (OILY ACNE-PRONE SKIN):

Method:

  • Take a handful of oats and powder it in a blender.
  • Take 3 tbsps. of the oats powder and add 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
  • Add sufficient water to make a scrub.
  • Wet your skin and gently apply the scrub. Massage in circular motions.
  • Rinse off with cold water. Repeat twice a week.

WHITENING RICE SCRUB (TANNED SKIN):

Method:

  • Take 3 tbsps. of rice flour and add the juice of half a lemon.
  • Add 1 tbsp. of Sea salt to it. Mix well with sufficient amount of milk.
  • Wet your skin and gently apply the scrub. Massage in circular motions.
  • Rinse off with cold water. Repeat twice a week.
